Ambro Express is a new courier and logistics project dedicated to clients of specialist industries based on nearly 20 years of experience and resources of Ambro Logistics, a Polish provider of international transport and forwarding services. The operator’s offer includes groupage and parcel transport, in particular non-standard parcels, which a Company sees opportunities for the highest growth. Ambro directs his services mainly to specialist industries such as automotive, which has his own, dedicated fleet of vehicles, a warehouse complex and a partner’s distribution network covering the whole country in the Next Day delivery system.
To operate courier services, Ambro Express chose the Trucker Plus operating system provided by OpenNet.pl, in its widest functional version.
Within the functional scope of the Trucker Plus system, provided by OpenNet.pl, there is a full trade module, an operational module for managing the courier and transport network, a logistics module that supports warehouse and sorting processes as well as a billing and reporting module. In addition, as part of the implementation, Ambro Express decided to implement the WebTrucker application, dedicated to the company’s business clients.
Looking for the operating system vendor, we focused on the versatility of the transport management system (TMS), which as part of its functions will cover all areas of the company’s business activities as well as guarantee the expected efficiency and scalability, following the scale of operations, number of clients, development of the branch network and connections national and international – says Piotr Majtka, Network Manager Ambro Express. In this respect, the Trucker Plus system turned out to be unrivaled in comparison with other ready-made operating systems available on the market – he adds.

The production version of the Trucker system in the Plus version had a premiere at Ambro Express on October 18, 2018.
